Thinkings

Reduction

To lighten my task load regularly, I keep two time-based questions in mind:

  • When do I want to do this task?
  • When do I need to complete this task?

I dump a task if I don't need to complete it and/or if I don't want to do it.

Tasks that do not need to be completed within the day get scheduled on the days I want to do them.

Tasks that need to be completed today, with(out) regards to my (lack of) desire to do them, get scheduled around my essential breaks of breaking fast, having dinner, and sleeping.

I set a daily limit of six scheduled tasks. Initially, it was to have two tasks to be completed before each break. But, in reality, I end up scheduling one before breakfast, two before dinner, and three before bed.
